MAT
PILATES

EAST FUSION (Pilates + Yoga)

Pilates + Yoga intertwined in a dynamic class of fluid movement and breath.  The power & strength of Pilates, together with the calmness & flexibility of yoga, presented in graceful dance-inspired sequences, will get your heart pounding, your body sweating and your muscles fired up!

 

FULL BODY PILATES

This powerful Pilates class is exactly that...a class with extra focus on our 'powerhouse'.  Lots of dynamic and static exercises specifically targeting our inner and outer core.  Although challenging, modifications are always offered.

 

UP IN ARMS PILATES

Too often we forget about our upper bodies!  Get ready for strapless-dress-worthy arms, shoulders & upper back, while (always!) building strength in your core.  You'll feel the burn as you sculpt your muscles from the waist all the way up to your neck.

 

HIPS DON'T LIE PILATES

Hips, core (always!), bum and legs are the main stars in this class! Building strength and endurance in some of our biggest muscles helps to improve your gait and mobility while protecting the body against injury.  Oh, and your jeans will fit great too!

 

RESTORATIVE PILATES

A class designed for anyone and everyone!  Whether you’re starting a fitness routine, getting back to fitness after a long break, seniors, post surgery, injury repair or want a slower class to build up the foundational exercises. Gentle and safe core exercises while still building strength and endurance.

REFORMER PILATES

REFORMER ESSENTIALS

The Reformer Essentials class is perfect to become familiar with the machine all while getting a safe, yet challenging, workout.  This class is great for all levels as the exercises are largely closed kinetic chain, meaning your body is pushing against a fixed surface.

 

REFORMER CONNECT

This class is designed to do exactly what the Reformer is best for…condition our muscles by creating strong internal systems.  Core, legs, arms, back…nothing gets overlooked!  This class starts to play with open kinetic chain exercises (the moving body part basically “floating in space”)

 

REFORMER RESTORE

This class is designed for anyone with an existing condition or recovering from injury or surgery.  The class will strengthen the body while being mindful, offering slow transitions between exercises and using lots of props to make the exercises accessible.

 

REFORMER STRONG

Take your Reformer experience up a notch!  Reformer Strong will increase the resistance, increase the reps and increase your overall strength & endurance.

 

REFORMER EVOLVE LEVEL 2

This intermediate class will challenge your personal practice.  The moves get more intricate and require strength and grace.

ALL TYPES OF YOGA 

VINYASA FLOW YOGA - OPEN LEVEL

Switch off, tune in and find your flow in this popular Vinyasa practice focused on syncing movement to breath in a flow designed to build heat, endurance, flexibility and strength. Expect different options throughout the class to suit your practice and what you need, encouraging you to listen to your body, clear your mind and reconnect to your breathing. 

 

FLOW TO RESTORE YOGA

Our Flow to Restore class will transport you from your busy life into a more relaxed and calming space. We’ll begin with a flowing sequence linking postures to breath and helping to release stress or tension whilst building strength and flexibility. The second half of the class promotes deep relaxation with longer held poses to help repair and restore the entire system. 

 

HATHA FLOW YOGA

Hatha Yoga is a slower paced class with a strong emphasis on the breath, alignment and mindful movement which creates a more meditative space.The practice of Hatha Yoga works to balance the two energies, ‘Ha’ meaning sun and ‘Tha’ meaning moon.  The class will leave you feeling more aligned, centred and balanced as a result.

 

RESTORATIVE YOGA

Restorative Yoga is the perfect antidote to a busy pace of modern life, it is a practice of conscious, intentional rest that allows time for the nervous system to downshift and come back into balance. This practice is floor based and uses props such as bolsters, blankets, blocks and straps to fully support the body, helping you to let go and soften. The class will close with a guided meditation to help nourish the mind, body and spirit.

 

MELLOW YIN YOGA

Create space for more self-care in this nourishing practice. Expect to hold poses for longer periods as we work into the deep connection tissue, targeting key areas where we store stress & tension, helping to reduce stress & soothe the nervous system. Yin is a must if you’re wanting to balance your yoga practice, reconnect with your body and support your well-being.

 

POWER FLOW YOGA

Our fun and fiery Power Flow classes are designed to challenge you, to build strength and work up a sweat at a pace guaranteed to get your heart racing. This practice is creatively designed by our amazing instructors to share their own styles and favourite juicy flows – expect to work hard, play hard and enjoy that natural yoga high!

BARRE

LEGS FOR DAYS 

Based on traditional barre warm-up exercises and simple dance/fitness sequences, this class is designed to tone your legs and core, while building strength and endurance.  Sequence of plies, tendus, battements and sautes (jumps) will bring out your inner dancer.

TOTAL BODY STRONG

The name says it all...you'll feel stronger all over!  Props will be added to build mobility, & strength to your whole body with increased cardio endurance. No muscle will be missed in this dynamic class.
