MAT
PILATES

EAST FUSION  

Yoga + Pilates + Barre intertwined in a dynamic class of fluid movement and breath.  The power & strength of Pilates, together with the calmness & flexibility of yoga, presented in graceful dance-inspired sequences, will get your heart pounding, your body sweating and your muscles fired up!

 

FULL BODY PILATES FLOW

This intermediate Pilates class is exactly that...a class with extra focus on our 'powerhouse'.  Lots of dynamic and static exercises specifically targeting our inner and outer core.  Although challenging, modifications are always offered.

**Contraindications include back/spinal injuries or conditions including herniated disks and osteoporosis**

 

UP IN ARMS

Too often we forget about our upper bodies!  Get ready for strapless-dress-worthy arms, shoulders & upper back, while (always!) building strength in your core.  You'll feel the burn as you sculpt your muscles from the waist all the way up to your neck.

 

HIPS DON'T LIE

Hips, core (always!), bum and legs are the main stars in this class! Building strength and endurance in some of our biggest muscles helps to improve your gait and mobility while protecting the body against injury.  Oh, and your jeans will fit great too!

 

RESTORATIVE PILATES

A class designed for anyone and everyone!  Whether you’re starting a fitness routine, getting back to fitness after a long break, seniors, post surgery, injury repair or want a slower class to build up the foundational exercises. Gentle and safe core exercises while still building strength and endurance.

REFORMER PILATES

REFORMER FOUNDATIONS

The Reformer Foundation class is perfect to become familiar with the machine all while getting a safe, yet challenging, workout.  This class is great for all levels as the exercises are largely closed kinetic chain, meaning your body is pushing against a fixed surface.

 

REFORMER CONDITIONING

This class is designed to do exactly what the Reformer is best for…mobilise & condition our muscles by creating strong internal systems.  Core, legs, arms, back…nothing gets overlooked!  This class starts to play with open kinetic chain exercises (the moving body part basically “floating in space”)

Prerequisite: Reformer Foundations

 

REFORMER STRONG

Take your class up a notch with Reformer Strong.  The resistance will be increased in this class to create more muscle strength & endurance, while also challenging the body with more open kinetic chain sequences.

Prerequisite: Reformer Foundations

 

CARDIO REFORMER

A fun, fast-paced class designed to get your heart rate up and endorphins flowing!  The class will include amazing playlists and the use of the cardio rebounder, a trampoline attachment, to ultimately challenge the body; building more endurance, more strength and ultimately,  feel better!.  

Prerequisite: Reformer Foundations 

 

HIIT & REFORMER FUSION

High Intensity Interval Training on the mat, combined with strengthening reformer exercises, to ensure every muscles group gets the love it deserves.  Expect to be challenged, to get sweaty and to feel great!

ALL TYPES OF YOGA 

POWER & FLOW

A powerful class with strong moving sequences to challenge the body with a focus on core-strengthening.  The class will take you through a practice that flows between effort and ease, cultivating an intense yet calming balance. 

 

VINYASA FLOW 

A vinyasa flow style class that builds intensity and internal heat through asana sequences, including sun salutations.  Expect to be challenged while being able to customise to your specific level through various modifications.

 

HATHA FLOW

Classical Hatha combines asana (poses), pranayama (breath) and meditation to create a gentle flow that will bring balance to body, mind & spirit.

 

YOGA FUSION (Yoga + QiGong)

Fusion of hatha yoga, qi gong, breathwork, meditation and somatic movement, bringing a sense of relaxation and energy to body, mind & spirit.

 

HEART FLOW

Each class will be a unique journey designed to open the heart and challenge the body through creative sequences and lots of laughter. Expect the unexpected!

 

RESTORATIVE FLOW

A calming class incorporating gentle flows to build some heat and then bringing the body into deep restorative poses, meditation and breathing techniques to quiet the mind and stretch the body.

 

MELLOW YIN YOGA

A gentle, calming class incorporating yin yoga, which works deeply into our body with passive, longer-held poses.

Yin Yoga targets the deepest tissues of the body, our connective tissues – ligaments, joints, bones, the deep fascia networks of the body and the meridians. This is in contrast to a Yang yoga practice such as Vinyasa yoga, which largely targets the muscles.

BARRE

LEGS FOR DAYS 

Based on traditional barre warm-up exercises and simple dance/fitness sequences, this class is designed to tone your legs and core, while building strength and endurance.  Sequence of plies, tendus, battements and sautes (jumps) will bring out your inner dancer.

TOTAL BODY STRONG

The name says it all...you'll feel stronger all over!  Props will be added to build mobility, & strength to your whole body with increased cardio endurance. No muscle will be missed in this dynamic class.
